ADRA Connections: Vietnam

Bao Lac District is one of the remotest and poorest districts of Cao Bang Province. In order to enhance knowledge and build up local capacity as part of Community Empowerment on Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation (CEM), ADRA provides training on the following: good governance; community and economic development; and water, sanitation and hygiene. With this knowledge, the local communities develop initiatives together with ADRA to identify and address the most urgent problems. Upgrading key school facilities to help solve certain social, health and environmental issues has been identified as a main priority by several communities.

Your support in upgrading a primary school in need will improve the accessibility and infrastructure for children to receive their education in a safe and clean environment. Enjoy the opportunity to have a cross-cultural experience as you work alongside the community!
