Myanmar Connections Trip
Families have great difficulty providing adequate nutrition or earning an income that can support growth, health, and education for their families in Myanmar. ADRA’s SURE project is working in 12 villages to ensure families gain the skills and resources they need to produce more nutritious and profitable crops, while at the same time taking good care of their environment.
As part of the Myanmar Connections trip, you will have the opportunity to work beside local farmers installing fencing for farmlands and vegetable gardens and building trellises to protect water sources that are often destroyed by animals.
Through this trip, you will support farming families through practical support and through fundraising efforts supporting the wider project. You will also have the opportunity to experience a new lifestyle and culture.
Note: A good level of fitness is required for these activities, gardening and farming in Myanmar is no easy task!
This connections trip will be available January – Mid May 2019 (due to weather conditions in Myanmar, this is the safest time to travel)
*Cost provided is only estimated based on 10 people, costs will be cheaper if a team of 15 people.
