Access to clean water is never taken for granted in rural communities in Vanuatu with many villages lacking safe, sustainable and secure water supplies, no sanitation facilities and poor hygiene practices. Resulting in poor health, which affects the ability to earn an income, learn at school.
As an ADRA Connections volunteer you will be a set of lending hands to the local community.
Your team will assist ADRA in constructing water tanks for clean water and toilets for communities in Vanuatu. Your team will be digging and be laying of pipes, construct a water tank and building toilets for households. Your team can also run a super fun kids club teaching the children life-saving hygiene and sanitation skills!
Project Cost: $1,500* NZD per adult
Personal Cost: $500* per adult
*Costs based on a team of 15 people for 10 days. You are welcome to change the number of participants and days in Vanuatu but costs will vary.
