The Need

Mental health plays a vital role in our overall health and wellbeing, it impacts the way we think, how we feel and what we do. Having the right tools and support during a difficult time can make a huge difference in improving overall mental health.

How It Works

The Depression and Anxiety Recovery Programme (DARP) is run in partnership with Adventist Health Ministries.  The vision is to see all communities gain optimal health through a comprehensive health ministry, delivered by an optimally well church community.

The programme provides mental health education in a comprehensive way that deals with the core issues that cause and are associated with depression and anxiety. Participants are invited to attend an eight week course in which they will learn about mental health education in a comprehensive way that deals with the core issues that cause and are associated with depression and anxiety.

Please note that you will need to have at least one trained DARP associate director and 2 facilitators to run this programme, training for these positions can be provided.
